武嶺，海拔3275公尺，台灣公路能到達的最高點。
武嶺，位於台14甲上，可從西邊由南投埔里出發(西進武嶺)，也可由東邊從花蓮新城出法(東進武嶺)。
然而，如果想用自己的雙腳，踩著單車，該從哪邊上去呢？
就距離跟坡度而言，東進比較有挑戰，坡度相對較陡。
目前東西進均挑戰過的夥伴則感受不同，部分覺得東進較有挑戰，部分覺得西進較為艱辛。
這跟每位車友體能狀態有關，耐力、爆發力、持久力不同，騎乘感受亦不同。
就地理景觀上，東進沿途較具特殊且壯麗，車流量也較少。

At a altitude of 3275 meters, Wu Peak (phonetic sound Wuling) is the highest spot of Taroko and the highest point of road that we can reach in Taiwan.
Wuling, located on 
, can be reached from Puli Township of Nantou County in the west of Taiwan or from Sincheng Township of Hualien County in the east of Taiwan.
However, which side to get there if you want to bike up by your feet?
In terms of distances and slopes, it is more challenging and the slopes are relatively steep in the east.
Everyone biked up from these two sieds had different feeling because it depended on your physical state at that moment. You will have different feeling of riding when you own different endurance, power or perseverance.
In the geographical landscape, you will see more distinctive and spectacular views along the east side and there is less traffic on the road.
